legislative session has its share or losers, winners
A Republican governor who jumped from his party, a $ 3.2 billion revenue shortfall and a tsunami of protests by teachers set the 2010 legislative session, apart from any other.

should i claim on my insurance?
about a week ago i was at my dads house which is on a hill and my handbrake snapped which meant my car rolled down the hill and hit another car.
the person who owns the car was on holiday so i just let his neighbour know who did the damage.
the damage wasn’t much just a bit of paint took off the rear bumper, the owner has given me an estimate of £460 to fix it which includes doing something to his parking sensor.
should i just pay it out of my own money or go through the insurance? also am i liable to pay as i was not in the car at the time?
cheers dave
Yes you are liable to pay as it was your car that caused the damage, whether you were in it or not is irrelevant, you are the registered owner.
As for paying for it, it all depends what the excess on your insurance is, if its say £500 then no, you may as well pay for it yourself, but if its £150 then you may as well, but this guy will have to get it done at a proper body work repair shop that your insurance agrees to.
What about any damage to your car, if this needs doing get it done as well.
I would claim because thats what insurance is for, if they try and increase your premium next year to a stupid amount for something so little just shop around for a new insurance company.
Whenever I have made a claim to that amount approx. my insurance has never rocketed up, so use it, your paying for it for times like this
